Over 25 years of tax consulting experience at the highest level (e.g., Fortune 500 clients), specializing in sales/use taxes, unclaimed property, CA Enterprise Zone credits & audit/tax/finance resource management (recruiting). Former California tax auditor (3 years). Former Big 4 state & local tax consultant (12+ years) focusing on multistate sales & use taxes. Expert in California Enterprise Zone tax incentives. Led Norcal Credits & Incentives Practice at both KPMG & Ernst & Young.
Finance Consultant:
Experience in operations, marketing and finance in both the high tech and retail industries. CFO of the Industry Council for Small Business Development. Volunteer Chair for the Silicon Valley Association of Start-up Entrepreneurs. Vice Chairman of the KMVT community access TV station. Producer of "The Silicon Valley Entrepreneur" which can be seen on community access TV stations KMVT and CreaTV as well as on YouTube. MBA and Engineering degree.
Government Contract Consultant:
Over 30 years of experience in procuring Federal Contracts for U.S. and international small to large businesses. Served on the Economic Opportunity Council as an advocate for economic opportunity. Introduced new enterprise concepts to the County and sought new sources of revenue. Helped develop the Community Action Plan and created new avenues for outreach.
